NLTV Community Creators are certified to use Nā Leo TV equipment and studios to create media. By going through a simple online module, proficiency test, and providing a one-minute PSA, you can get certified! Make Media That Matters to You!

In 2025, Nā Leo TV will introduce an enhanced online certification program that features specialized skill-building modules tailored to the dynamic world of media production. New gamification elements, such as earning badges for course completions, will be integrated, offering participants access to advanced equipment and potential internship opportunities.

For the 2024-25 school year, we’ve partnered with Pāhoa High School’s Kealaula Program and Kealakehe High’s Waveriders Program to support hands-on media production training. These partnerships provide work-based learning opportunities and allow us to refine the curriculum before rolling it out to the broader community in 2025.
